VerdictThe broadcaster sign-up of Chaturbate: five cents a token, a $50 minimum, payouts twice a month and geo-blocking by state.
- Best for
- Adults who want a published per-token rate and control over which regions can see them
- Watch out
- Crypto payouts start at $200 with a $45 Bitcoin fee, and studio models cannot cash out their own tokens.
Chaturbate pays broadcasters five cents for every token they receive, and the sign-up page prints that rate in plain numbers. Tokens come from tips, private and spy shows, fan club fees and sales of photos and videos. Pay periods close on the 15th and on the last day of the month, and the money goes out within seven days. The minimum is $50 for most methods, among them Paxum, CosmoPayment, ACH and a check by mail, which is half the $100 that LiveJasmin Model Center asks before a first payout. Crypto and FedEx checks start at $200, and a Bitcoin payout carries a $45 processing fee. Daily payouts open up after two regular payouts for US broadcasters and four for everyone else, at $20 plus a $3.95 fee. The form itself asks for a username, a password and a birthday, email is optional, and the ID upload follows, with up to 24 hours for staff to verify it. Until then the account earns nothing. The sign-up page only says you control who sees your cam. The help center spells it out, you can block countries, US states, Canadian provinces and UK regions from your room, and it warns that IP detection is not 100% accurate. One catch for agency models. A broadcaster signed to a studio cannot convert tokens, the balance goes to the studio every night.
