Streamate has been selling private cam time since 2003, and the front page still behaves like a catalogue, a wall of model thumbnails with ages, a Join Free button, Google sign-in, and category counts down the side (Toys 817, Brunette 741, Shaved Pussy 570, Feet 534 when I looked). The model has always been private-first. The pitch promises free shows and going private, Gold shows are the crowd-funded middle step, and the real action is billed by the minute, so the site suits people who intend to spend from the first minute, not lurkers. The platform is also the engine behind several white labels, Jerkmate among them, which is why the same performers keep turning up under different logos. Prices are not shown until you are inside a room, and the site did not surface an online count at all. It is the reliable, unglamorous option, and after twenty years the only surprise is how little the format has changed.
